| 11:10am – 12:00pm Workshop Block #1: Multiple Rooms Three concurrent sessions focusing on ways to improve holistic practices that center physical, emotional, spiritual, & social wellness. Mindfulness in the Movement: Oftentimes, wellness is secondary when it comes to social change. How is it we can learn to take care of one another while taking care of ourselves? What does mindfulness look like when we incorporate it with our efforts to mobilize communities? In this workshop, we will explore the chakra system in our body while connecting to the wisdom of revolutionaries in the ancestral realm. We’ll also co-create an ancestral altar so that you can begin to cultivate a spiritual practice in your daily life. This experience will include guided meditation and sound healing, so come ready to relax and receive! Participants will walk away with tools to practice mindfulness and a renewed sense of purpose in their mission. Location: Venture Cove A Beading + Balance: This session will focus on self-care, reflection and restoration through beading. We will each create brick stitch earrings as we engage in discussion on beading for balance, Indigenous core values and tailored approaches to wellness that are suited to our individual strengths. Together, we will discuss what it means to empower one another, continue wellness practices and build compassion as a community. (20 seats max capacity) Location: Venture Cove C Zine World-Making: Healing Wisdom & Community Archiving: Come learn about the history of feminist and queer zines while also making these amazing small hand-made chapbooks. This workshop is for anyone who wants to make zines! In the spirit of DIY skill-sharing, we will have all the supplies and you just bring your ideas! Zines are made by collaging or remixing everyday found images and words and can be vital forms of communication, community-building, healing and inclusion. In these small pages, you will find a space for radical free expression: uncensored, playful, unbound. Location: Venture Cove B | |

| 1:00pm – 1:50pm Workshop Block #2: Multiple Rooms Join these sessions to hear from empowering womxn and learn about how you can integrate and practice skills that empower personal growth. Entry Level Challenges & How to be Taken Seriously Panel by NextUP: Join NextUp Southern California members sharing on Entry Level Challengers & How to be Taken Seriously in the Workplace. Hear from a panel of professionals across industries, backgrounds and knowledge to share on their personal experience and coaching of young professionals in their fields. You will take away actionable steps on topics like setting boundaries, the strengths and trials of your identity within the workforce, and other entry-level challenges many young professionals face. Location: Veture Cove A Wealth Building Tips for Womxn: Building wealth might sound like an overwhelming goal — but it’s not as hard as you might think! During this session, we’ll discuss the importance of a positive money mindset, the basics of financial literacy, and the key principles that will set you on a path to financial independence. Location: Venture Cove B Breaking the Binary Panel: In this session, three UCI staff members share the stories of their nonbinary identities. We’ll offer strategies for thinking outside the binary and tips for supporting those whose stories may not look like your own. Audience discussion, participation, & questions are encouraged!
