We Rise Ambassador Program

About We Rise:
The We Rise Ambassador Program was created in Fall 2020 to provide a volunteer experience for students who are passionate about the work of the Womxn’s Center for Success, and who want to build community connections through outreach across campus.  Ambassadors have the opportunity to create and execute programs, bring awareness to womxn’s issues, and promote the Womxn’s Center for Success. This program also includes personal and professional development opportunities so that Ambassadors integrate skills and practices that empower personal growth.

Participants will go through a 1.3 unit class in Fall 2023 on Wednesdays. This is a mandatory class in order to be part of the We Rise Ambassador Program.

The purpose of this course is to expand understanding of the experiences of womxn in leadership and enhance a student’s UCI experience by providing tools to encourage future on and off campus leadership involvement.
